The Icelandic Corporation of Kinetic Development (or; Ãslenska hreyfiþróunarsamsteypan) is an independent dance company. A collaboration between five young dancers, choreographers and theatermakers. The aim is to experiment within the dance form and push the boundaries of it. Our members are Ãsgerður G. Gunnarsdóttir, a dancer and currently studying theater theory and practise in Reykjavik, KatrÃn Gunnarsdóttir, dancer and currently studying choreography in Arnhem, Melkorka S. Magnúsdóttir, a dancer and currently studying choreography in Amsterdam, Ragnheiður S. Bjarnarson and VigdÃs Eva Guðmundsdóttir, both currently studying contemporary dance in Reykjavik. On the 10th of August 2006 we premiered a new dance and theatre piece, Meyjarheftið, at artFart, an annual performance and theater festival in Iceland. Next project is set for summer 2008.
