Afuru is my comfortable solo project.
Afuru is a mutilation of the icelandic word "afhverju" which means "why".
It's an important question with many answers. Why music?, why good? Also, who transmits and who receives? Communication that has much wider implications than words brings endless possibilities. United with the common language we have a new dimension. A whole new living web of something we can't quite grasp.
I like many other musicians thrive to expand on that concept, wonderings of origin, meaning, purity, filth, beauty, destruction and creation are focal points in the conduction or creation of my transmissions.
