Knut Posse is a reggae / dancehall / soul / disco / hip hop remix crew from the Northern Hemisphere. Our aim is to produce a blend of fresh vocals on classic (often overlooked) riddims and beats to create something new for the people in the dancehall.

Band Members: Knut is a former FSB telecommunications officer / sonic engineer. With a strong background in Soviet science and a slight compulsive disorder, Knut is able to keep his mind fixed on one thing only - finding the perfect match for that wicked piece of riddim. Pjotr is the head of logistics and the part of the Posse that makes all the agreements with artists and major labels. His long career in Karelian arms industry (manufacturing, testing and eliminating problems) has been a strong benefit to his day-to-day line of work with the crew. Without his skills in making people agree (or quit bitching anyway) Knut and Igor would be in serious trouble. Igor, also known as Igol-Sensei, is a well known Yoga master and the main cultivator for psychotropic substances on Viaborg island. He is "the main man" in the community for his hustlatory skills and his renaissance personality; Igol is known for solving all kinds of problems, no matter whether they be of scientifical, political, esoteric, hypothetical or non-existent kind. His strong beliefs in constant growth and his motto "more, higher grade, again!" are the basis for his spiritual leader status in the Posse.
Influences: dancehall reggae to rocksteady to soul to ska to roots to funk to hip hop to disco in a remix fashion ... as long as the combination is right!
