Dismal Skies

Dismal Skies was conceived by Countess around 2002 and was originally going to be a purely instrumental project. The music had elements of early Mortiis, but unfortunately was shelved following her move to Norway. Dismal Skies has recently been resurrected and will continue partly in the same style, but also with full songs structured in a gothic metal style.Countess is joined by her Vargnathorn band mates, Syreoth and Trollvar and also her husband Grimfrost.The two tracks available here are very early demo tracks, but will hopefully provide a little insight into some of Dismal Skies future creations. Unfortunately during the transition from Midi to Mp3 the tracks have lost some of their quality and resonance which is extreemly frustrating. We are currently searching for better software. If anyone has any recommendations for this, please let us know.
