I'm not interested in pumping out production that is consistently recognizable as EE:33. Music, to me, is tedious when not adventurous, and despite its branding, many producers within this experimental or abstract genre are not venturing past that which is immediately recognizable as saleable: the music that came before and sold well. I am not making a product for the sake of gaining some stance within the capitalist system. The collection that I am showcasing online is only a small sample of what I'm recording, composing, and producing. I don't intend to retrace my steps or make the same sound twice, and I have much more to do within this medium.
It is time to separate our art from our financial concerns.
