MC Desi - Nishma Got Merked Coming 08!

MC Desi has been on the scene since 16. Music has been a passion of Desi's since an early age and the 90's really kicked started his career as an MC while still at school. He was drawn into by drum & bass and the then heavy jungle scene since being introduced into it by an older school friend. He would regularly listen to Kool FM 94.5, Rinse FM 91.8 and other various pirate stations on a regular basis. The funky beats and dirty bass drops got desi hooked to say the least. Shabba D, Shockin, MC Riddla and Skibbi D were his influential artists while growing up. He would repeat there spits whenever he heard them on air, tapes or at gigs. He was addicted to the drum & bass, jungle music and would blast it whenever he had the chance. Desi didn't realise he wanted to become an MC until he started rhyming his own words with instrumentals and mixtapes. Desi has also been creative by producing his own beats and dj'ing up and down the country. He has made many musical friends on the road and has worked with various artists on the underground and mainstream scene. A few to name Dally Sidhu, RDB, Lightinin MC, Tazzz, RMC, DJ Rix, Infamous Sukh, DJ MMS, TRBS, DJ Guv and many more. As MC Desi always states, and i quote: There is more to life than music in my eyes.. I do it for those who love music.
