About Me


What's up Metal Mother Fuckers. I'm the Bassist, Lead Vocalist and one of the Songwriters for the Palmetto Florida based Metal Band, "RMISERY". Thus far, my band has self produced 3 full length CD's, with new material always in the works. I dig writing and arranging new music, but it's the live shows where I get to unleash my pent up aggression.
While growing up in Buffalo N.Y., I've always had a love for music. But it wasn't till high school that I picked up the bass guitar for the first time. I jammed every Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden album these bands had till I became fluent on the 4 string bass guitar. I jammed with anyone who could and wanted to play. Even had to call for stationwagon taxi's to take me and my gear across town just to make noise with dudes like me, even for only a couple of hours.
I finally started a band in the late 80's with a guitarist who wrote and recorded his own songs. We played all the MTV hair metal favorites, but with only a few originals. Although I had a good time playing Motley Crue and Ozzy tunes, it was the aggression of Anthrax and Metallica songs that really drove me.
Then in 1991, I had enough of doing covers, and quit. At that time, hair metal bands were dying, and grunge was just starting to take over.
I ended up taking a couple years off, and went back to school, earning myself an associates degree.
In 1994, I left Buffalo and headed south to Florida.
In 1997 I met a drummer named Craig Holt, who happened to live down the street from me. We started jamming and writing originals together. So out of necessity, I ended up singing alot because I was able to play my bass and belt out some vocals without train wrecking the song. Although we had checked out many singers, could not find any that matched what I was doing and what we wanted to hear for our songs. That meant I was stuck with the job. No regrets anymore. I do dig the vocalist part, which often means I can be the loudest at times.
Then in 2005, we became "RMISERY".
I am grateful at the lineup we have now in RMISERY. It's now been 10+ years in the making, but were finally kicking ass and having fun.
