Boxers who have fought for the NABC belt include Evander Holyfield, Felix Trinidad, Larry Donald, Ricardo Mayorga, Stevie Johnston, Eric "Butterbean" Esch, Joshua Clottey, Ian Gardner, Michael Olajide and Damian Fuller. Promoters who have held NABC contests include Don King, Fred Berns, Lou Duva, Scott McCorkle, Lou DiBella, Cage Fury, Jennifer Childers and Gary Shaw.
