The Boxing News Authority for the Gulf Coast

About Me

Gulf Coast Boxing
Since its inception, Gulf Coast Boxing has been the top resource for boxing news in the Gulf Coast region of the United States. Started in July of 2004 by boxing enthusiasts Damien St.Pierre, Nick Hebert, and Rocky Kiffe; Gulf Coast Boxing strives to keep boxing fans up to date on local boxing events and more importantly, the local fighters that tend to go unnoticed by major boxing news outlets.
Although we've only been able to cover fights in Louisiana and Mississippi so far, we plan on expanding our horizons in the future and begin covering other states, such as Texas, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, etc.
On our website, www.GulfCoastBoxing.com , you'll find photo reports of every professional fight card we attend, interviews, an indepth schedule of the region's events, and a forum for boxing discussion.
In addition to boxing news, Gulf Coast Boxing is also opening the doors to its sister company, Gulf Coast Boxing Services. GCB Services will provide everything from management to fighters to matchmaking to ring rental services. GCB Services already has a nice stable of fighters, but we're always looking for new, fresh talent.
GCB is now in its 4th year of business and has working relationships with the best in the business.
GCB.Com is not just a media company. We have a stable of fighters, 7 years in the matchmaking business and we have even promoted bouts for 3 years. GCB is the premier boxing company in the South!
The Gulf Coast Boxing gym is located in Larose, Louisiana and it is being run by former world champion and Gold Medal winner Kennedy "The King" McKinney.
Team GCB currently has 6 boxers in its stable and 2 MMA fighters.

Heroes:

"The world aint all sunshine and rainbows. Its a very mean and nasty place and I don't care how tough you are, it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permantly if you let it. You, me or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it aint about how hard you can hit, it's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving foward and how much you can take and keep moving foward, that's how winning is done. Now if you know what your worth, then go out and get what you are worth, but you've got to be willing to take the hits and not pointing fingers saying you aint where you want to be because of him or her or anybody. Cowards do that and that aint you, you're better than that!
