Okay, that's true, but surely there must be more!!
I am fascinated with the philosophical arguments that surround and underlie most religious traditions. Particularly the philosophical arguments that justify the use of impure substances or acts within Buddhism. I would expand, but I thoroughly believe that I have been blessed to see some of the ancient documents that I have seen....and that cannot be given to those who are not ready.
Now....just because I'm fascinated with this stuff, it is seperate from the Rum.....When I've been boozing, there is nothing I detest more than someone trying to speak to me about religion...Okay peeps, I'm did religious studies, but when I'm drunk....Oh, come on!! That's my work, not my play!!
Anyhoo, I also have a great interest in modelling. I'm 6ft 2in tall, skinny as a bean pole, (not for lack of eating nowadays!! Hmmmmm, Food) and I can catwalk-walk like you wouldnt believe!! It's just....well, I'll put it this way...It's a bitchy old buisness.....not so much the photographers, and make-up folk....but the models can be a right bunch of MEAN c***s. (sorry mam, I ken you hate that word!!)
These piccies were taken by Fiona (see My Friends) for her art class at college...It's the Seven Deadly Sins...and they turned out really cool!!
I'm also interested in Ancient buildings, books, proper stained glass leaded lights and horror movies!!
Moving on......
My New Creature!!!
Ooooooo, it's a crab!!!
oooo, another new egg :D
..
Goodness, who would I like to meet?
My lovely Ickle Red....play with him a while, he's a sweet heart!! Feed him, and tickle his chin....he loves that!!!
adopt your own virtual pet!
I'd also love to meet Bill Mosely. He played Ottis in Rob Zombie's "House of 1000 Corpses", and Chop Top in the "Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2". I have never in my life heard someone with such a recognisable voice!!! If you've heard him, you'll know what I mean.
Also, it may sound mad, but I want to meet Robert DeNiro.... .....Believe it or not, I loved him for years as an older man, then I finally saw the Godfather 2 and.....HOLY SHEEP SHIT!!! HOW HOT!!! I want him to give ME a pear!!! grrrr
Finally, in a desperate plea....I want to meet my Stephen again. Stephen Fletcher or Bleach Blonde as he used to be known. Stevie baby, you were SUCH a good friend for such a long time, and I never should have let that twat of an ex-boyfriend of mine stop me speaking to you. I miss you so much, and hopefully you might come accross me here and get in touch. Just to clarify, the last I heard you were getting married to Gail, but that was YEARS ago. SO lets just hope that you find this! I owe you a HUGE hug!!!
Goodness, how do I even begin!!! Lets see.....
When I was younger, I thought there was nothing beyond Heavy metal and death metal....Except 50's music coz I LOVE the harmonies!! Then a strange thing happened....
I grew up and opened my eyes and my ears and found some friends who introduced me to old, but new to me, music!!
That accounts for my diversity in music taste!
Anything and everything is worth a listen, although I must admit, I'm a bit close minded with some of these new bands that everyone seems to like. I cant seem to get beyond my own view that, well, if they're good, I'll hear them in 10 years, coz it'll still be good! I know...I should try, but it annoys me!
Therefore, here are some of my favorite musicians and albums....enjoy!
Aretha Franklin - what a voice!!!
Ottis Reading - Oh I'll sit on that doc with ya!
Rob Zombie - particularly the soundtrack for "House of 100 corpses"
Simon and Garfunkle - Stressful day? let the greatest hits sail you away!
Madonna - You rock babyo!
Brother Where Art Thou Soundtrack - esp. No. 9.
Portishead - sad, but good if yer in the right mind frame!
"White Rabbit" song....Oh yeah!
Terry Reid - Go look him up he deserves a listen
Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers - of course!
"Goodnight moon" by Shizaree....great tune!
plus so many more!!And that'll do for now.....there really are too much!!
It's all in the family!
Texas Chainsaw Massacre - The first, second and newest!
But especially the second one!!!
I'm gonna add a dedication to Bill Moseley soon enough! My hero! Chop Top Rocks!!
Bill Moseley as Chop Top
House of 1000 corpses! Go Mr Zombie!!
The Devils Rejects too, but it's just a depressing ending!!
Once again, Bill Moseley rocks!! Here he is as Ottis B Driftwod.....{evil grin}
Hmmmm, and the Godfathers.....Hmmmmm, Robert DeNiro!!
The Addams Family, and Values.
The Wicker Man!!! - Christopher Lee, what can I say!
Meet the Fockers - Robert DeNiro AND Dustin Hoffman...Wow!
Zoolander - That film is Hilarious!!
Tank Girl - If you've ever read the comics, Lori Petty does an AMAZING job bringing Tank Girl to life!!! And those hairdoos!
Empire Records - okay, this one is a tribute to my own teenage angst...I LOVED this film!!
Interview with the Vampire - I canna stand Tom Cruiz, but he played Lestat brilliantly!!
Lost Boys - Come on, who didnt love this film!!
Reality Bites and Singles - dont know why I've lumped them together!!
And for the moment.....the last one I'll put is....
Spider Baby - For all you horrow fans out there, this is a black and white film fae 1968, and it is brilliant. You can see texas chainsaw's influence, as well as Rob Zombie's, the Rocky Horror's, and HEAPS of other horrow/thriller films.
It thoroughly deserves a mention, because it is brilliant! It's about three kids who have a disease because of inbreeding in their family that regresses them back into a childlike mentality with a difference......they eat human flesh!! Sid Haig gives an AMAZING performance as Ralph, the eldest of the sibling, and the most degenerate.
Brilliant film....Trust me!!
Oh and we cant forget Zoolander can we!!!
