Lighting Resume;

After spending the late 90's learning the ways of the Lighting Guy at the dirtier end of the local electronic music scene with Melbourne's "Team Switch", I soon realised that, what had once been a fun hobby, could become a job I really enjoyed.
I then spent seasons at the infamous Seven Nightclub, and picked up regular shows with Melbourne promoters TUS(The Underground Sound) as LD for their Tekstep parties.

This experience gave me the opportunity to learn about a wide array of lighting equipment, applications and techniques, as well as the chance to work along-side some greats from the DnB scene (Loxy, Dom&Roland, Trace, Fierce, Matrix, Mickey Finn, Bad Company, etc...).

I developed a solid working relationship with one of the world's greatest Rock music venues, Richmond's Corner Hotel, that led me to adapt the lighting skills acquired in a dance music environment to live Rock music performances.

I've now applied my skills at major festivals (Come Together, Splendour in the Grass, Laneway Fest), Served as Techincal Liaison on a U2 video, and Lighting Director on videos for Mach Pellican, Honeymaker and Clare Bowdich. I've undertaken national tours with local heroes Gotye, Augie March, and independent song-smith Lior. Over the years I've designed, built and operated lighting shows for such diverse acts as After the Fall, Ruffio, The Faint, Bluehouse, Jaimi Faulkner, The Shins, Shadows Fall, As I Lay Dying, The Delgados, The Departure, The Black Keys, The Lucksmiths, Ben Lee, Mark Seymour, James Reyne, Idlewild, The Basics, Bob Log III, The GO!Team, Eskimo Joe, Fozzy, Maximo Park, Faker, The Presets, Electric Six, The Hoodoo Gurus, Spiderbait, Less than Jake, Sons & Daughters, The Fireballs, Blue Ruin, Broken social scene, The Misfits, Kosheen, Dan Warner, Crimson Fire, Farren Jones, Musiki Manjaro,Dan kelly and the Alpha Males, Dungen, the Dresden Dolls, Ron Sexsmith, the Howling Bells, G.Love and Special Sauce, Tin Alley, Mach Pellican, Guitar Wolf, Animal Collective, Toni Collette and the Finish, the Datsuns, the Bees, Tenpenny Joke, Tapes and Tapes, Nursery Crimes, Midlake, Tripod, Apoptygma Bezerk, Colin Hay, Hot Chip, Amy Grossbard, Yo La Tengo, Magnolia Electric Co, CutCopy, Cold War Kids, The Cops, The Rockability Rollers, Peter Bjorn and John, Lady Soverign, Rodriguez, Ben Kweller, The Slits, D-Dub, The View, The Vasco Era, Mountains in the Sky ...and many more.
