W. Boone Law

A bit of Texas Twang helps the medicine go down.

About Me

A native Texan, Boone grew up on the cosmic cowboy and outlaw country music of the 1970s. As a young man, Boone bought his first guitar and traveled across Central America and Australia studying Archaeology and writing songs along the way. Over the course of 4 years and 2 countries, he managed to record Cold Tequila Rain. Boone now calls Australia his home and lives in Adelaide. As a musician he is known for his poignant lyrics, his finger pickin' guitar style, his rich voice, and the good company he keeps around him. Cold Tequila Rain is his debut album. It was recorded at Infidel Studios-Queanbeyan, NSW, with the assistance of The Fuelers, Canberra's original Dieselbilly band.Boone is the winner of the 1997 Derby Country Music and Boab Festival and the 2001 Gumboot Throwing Champion of the Mighty Mitta Muster. Two of his songs, Cold Tequila Rain and Free-Feeling Cowboy, were selected for Capital Country Music Association-Tamworth songwriting finals.
