Okay, so maybe the picture is just to show that I'm still young at heart or maybe I just don't have any recent pictures of myself. My true passion is music. I love to hear new bands and turn people on to music they have not heard of before. Bands like The Beatles, The Kinks, and The Who (60's and 70's version) shape the music I listen to today. The biggest turning point though was the late 70's and the first punk and new waves bands such as The Ramones, The Jam, The Clash, and Elvis Costello would set me free from the horrible AOR records I was listening to at the time. Since then, I never looked back. The Paisley Underground movent got me through the 80's and now I am a die-hard Power Pop fan. Thanks to places like Not Lame I get to spend my hard earned money on as much music as possible. Bands like Bronco Bullfrog, The Shazam, The Lolas, Splitsville, The Mockers, and The Breakup Society just need to be heard by larger audiences. It is my quest to spread the word of this music to as many people as I can. Oh, I also like things like movies, and sports. I enjoy hiking and backpacking. I am also a closet artist and have dabbled in writing some short stories. People say I have a GREAT sense of humor; it tends to be a bit cynical!!
