A really bad bio...LOLCrystal Sunshine” yes it’s my real name” “Well, Sunshine is my middle name”, laughs Sunshine.My mom says they where rushing her for a middle name and the sun was shining in my eyes and I was smiling so she came up with Sunshine.Crystal Sunshine a self taught, never been trained singer/songwriter/ pianist, has a musical style all her own.“I’m not really sure what to call my style” laughs Sunshine.“It ranges everything from blues, jazz, rock, gothic ya name it!”“Maybe I’ll name it Bluesgothica!” Laughs Sunshine.Sunshine was always fascinated with the piano and music starting at a very young age.I remember always hearing my older brothers listening to hard rock and loving it and always dreaming of being a rock-star. I was so happy to get my first tape, being Barbie and the rockers. Laughs Sunshine.”Yeah uber dork”I used to always play around on my grandmothers piano, at a young age, not knowing what the hell I was doing, but I knew I was having fun!Crystal Sunshine born May 21st , grew up in a middle class family In Houston Texas, moved to Lake Jackson Texas around the age 10.“I was always a bored restless kid; always feeling like a misfit, getting picked on and shoved around” says Sunshine.” Let’s just say I had a dark lonely childhood”“I used to always sit in the back of the class, with my head phones in middle school and be listening to Guns and Roses or Metallica,then as I got older, I discovered Tori Amos and it all made sense. Seeing her and hearing that redhead, I was blown away and wished I could do that."Also Jeff Buckley’s voice is just heaven and really influenced me a lot!""I was influenced by a lot of darker music too, like Nine Inch Nails .Type O Negative and Marilyn Manson, I really had to be a Marilyn Manson fan due to the fact that we come from the same gene pool, we have, the same grandfather."“Right now, I’m totally digging on Mike Patton, that mans voice should be cloned! “Laughs SunshineSunshine started really writing and performing her first songs at the age of 16.“I’ve been doing this for years boys and girls” laughs Sunshine“It’s been a long processed of learning and growing, and finding my inner voice”Sunshine says.“It’s sometimes hard to be heard in such a noisy world!”“After awhile the white noise is too loud, I’ll totally Goth up the white noise and make it black noise. Ha”“Back in black yo!”Sunshine’s personality; is of a laid back kind humors nature.“I love to laugh and make others laugh, not that I’m funny, I could be the only one laughing. Ha ha"Sunshine playing gigs in her home town, to Georgia, to New Orleans, entering talent contest when younger.” That was a waste of time, with the money hungry talent scouts” says Sunshine.To striking up a long friendship with Gene McFatter of Showtime records.Now Sunshine is recording her debute album with McFatter which will be released on Showtime records with the album title “Nephilim Blood”. (Nephilim-are offspring of human and angels mentioned in the bible)“I have always been fascinated with the idea of of haft human haft angelic beings” says Sunshine. There is a theory that people with RH blood are “Nephilims”.My mother has that kind of blood, “which is a rare blood”,“I really don’t want people to know too much about me.”“I do music; it has saved my life!
