Mohawks For Cancer
This was thought up by a guitarist by the name of Izzy Dimebag. He had been told there are centers that accept hair to make wigs. These wigs are for cancer victims who lost their hair to the harsh treatments. He thought it was a great idea. So he decided to get a mohawk and donate the hair. He then thought more people may be willing to do the same.
Someone named Jesse Cronier saw the idea posted in Izzy's Msn name. He then proposed to make a myspace, spread the word and take the idea to a much larger scale. So here it is.

We are willing to shave your head for you(if you live in the area). But this revolves mainly about the idea. Its not much work to shave your own head or get a friend to and donate the hair. Its not much work or sacrifice. This is about spreading the word of doing it. Not everyone knows about hair donation. And who doesn't love a good mohawk? Contributing can be done beyond just hair donation. Money, telling freind, wearing a t-shirt. Spread the word, and you have helped a great deal.

For people in Toronto. I, Izzy Dimebag is willing to let you staple cash donations (bill donations) to my body. Thats right. Staple.
You dont have to staple to donate if your not comfortable with the idea.
AND! Due to the law. I cannot accept donations on behalf of the Cancer Society. You need a licence for that. Donations are to this cause. (Psst. this cause costs like 20 bucks to run because of shirts and junk, so really the money goes to the real cancer society but im not legaly allowed to say it so keep that part on the DL.)
If this gets and positive feedback im going to start bringing a buzzer to the kathedral and other shows to offer cuts(ill post that stuff if it happens). As it stands there is no buzzer avaible(caus' mine is fucked)
Im currently bringing a stapler and on occation, shirts to shows. I'll bulletin it when a show is comming up.

How to prepare your hair
The following conditions apply:
-hair must be clean and dry and not swept off the floor
-hair must be a minimum length (this varies depending on donation center - In toronto the minimum is 10 inches-see link for other locations)
-hair should be bundled in a ponytail at both ends or a braid
-Some locations may not accept chemicaly treated hair(bleached, harsh dyes ect)
