Let's see here... I graduated from Northern Arizona University last May with a BA in Religious Studies and a concentration in Creative Writing and Literature. In June, after a four and a half year wait, I finally married the handsome, wonderful, and creative Joshua Nite. And in January I'll be starting my MFA in Creative Writing at Goddard College. Das pretty much it.

My Interests

Good books, good food, good sex. You know, just living life...
Really, I just love being alive and spending each day with my beloved. And my cats, too.
I love to read, write, cook, clean, Uula like to have sex at 11am, play video games, try to keep houseplants alive, smoking da hookah, play with clay and watercolors, dance in my undies to Christina Aguilera, then do interpretive dance to 80's rock ballads, followed by headbanging something hard, fast and evil.
Just your average little girl.

I'd like to meet:

Old friends, new friends, whatever.

Music:

Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers, Mason Jennings, Poe, Type O Negative, Lacuna Coil, They Might be Giants, Christina Aguilera, Atmosphere, Common Rotation, The Format, Savatage, Amy Mann, Drunk and Disorderly.
I'm pretty well rounded.

Movies:

I will attempt this in alphabetical order... Adaptation, Almost Famous, Amelie, Animatrix, Big Fish, Breathless, City of Lost Children, Corpse Bride, The Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys, Donnie Darko, Dreams (Yume), Garden State, Hedwig & the Angry Inch, Indiana Jones (all of them), Kissing Jessica Stein, La Jetee, Love Actually, Mean Girls, Moulin Rouge, Muppet Movies (all of them), The Nightmare Before Christmas, Princess Mononoke, Pulp Fiction, Saved, Secretary, Sin City, Spirited Away, What Dreams May Come, Wings of Desire.

Television:

Since we can't keep a regular TV schedule we really just watch things once they're released on DVD.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Fushigi Yuugi, Fruits Basket, Sex in the City, America's Next Top Model.

Books:

"Stranger in a Strange Land" by Robert A. Heinlein, "Love in the Time of Cholera" "Chronicle of a Death Foretold" "100 Years of Solitude" by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, "Cherry" by Mary Karr, "Stardust" "Smoke and Mirrors" "Neverwhere" "Coraline" "American Gods" and the Sandman series by Neil Gaiman, "Good Omens" Neil Gaiman and Terry Prachett, "The Stupidest Angel" "Lamb: The Gospel according to Christ's childhoold pal Biff" "Island of the Sequined Love Nun" by Christopher Moore, "Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius" by Dave Eggers. Then there's all my relgious studies books... The Lotus Sutras, Buddhist Saints in India, The Triadic Heart of Siva (even though I can't read it anymore, gives me weird flashbacks...), still working on reading the Bible, Tantra... yeah. And there's the random collections of short stories I enjoy curling up with. Pretty much I just like to read.

Heroes:

Andy Garcia, Geena Davis, Dustin Hoffman.
