Strange Jazz Universe

The Jazz is out there somewhere

About Me

Veteran drummer Ron Bruner Sr. a native of L. A., has enjoyed a very broad and interesting career touring, performing and recording with everyone from the Temptations, Diana Ross, Gary Bartz, Billy Mitchell, Vicky Winans, Chapter 8, The Supremes, Freda Payne, Helen Baylor, Jody Watley, Johnny Gill, The Mighty Clouds of Joy, Hanna Barbara Cartoons, Howard Hewitt, Gladys Knight, Randy Crawford, The L. A. Ballet, Syreeta Wright, Chameleon, Della Reese, to Disney. His group "The Strange Jazz Universe" has just released it's first C.D. entitled "Live In Leimert Park", (recorded at Sunny's Spot in L. A.). Six original tunes and a cover of Miles Davis' "Black Satin". Ron Bruner Sr. is a child of the 60's and definitely has a musical menu that nods to everyone from John Coltrane to The Beatles. " The jazz universe itself is to big to confine. There are too many planets to visit, let's go". http://cdbaby.com/cd/rbsju2
