and i am not feeling too bright or positive
constant think and double-think
the whirring of wheels going nowhere
reflection of past actions that cannot be changed
that are meaningless anyways, yet consume so much thought
memories again that sieze the present
and cause me to freeze in inaction
calculation upon calculation
of future actions to be taken
rationalization upon rationalization
revision upon revision
whose move is it, anyway? I am a collection of characteristics
Both physical and mental
That makes me completely unique
No one else anywhere
Is exactly like me
And I realize that not everyone
Who crosses my path
Will be interested
In what I have to offer
But my strength comes
From the belief
That Someone
Can and Will
Appreciate me
For what I am
Being Human
I will make mistakes
I will say things that shouldn't be said
I will do things that shouldn't be done
And these things will bring pain
To myself and unfortunately others
But when the time comes
That I have hurt enough
To ask forgiveness from God above
And understanding from my fellow man
Then I will have the strength
To continue
Being HumanAlive without breath
as cold as death.
Never hungry never drinking
made of iron never thinking.
The deadly fire in his hands
lays waste to the surrounding lands.
Through the devastated fields
where the long grass grows
he comes and through the walls he goes.
I saw him run over streams
and over waters dark and grey
I saw him in empty lands until he passed away.

Blessed is the man who, having nothing to say, abstains from giving us wordy evidence of the fact.
