Without compromise or worries of having "the Single" for pop radio, Fearful Symmetry continues synthesizing its way through the ever crowded world of electronic music. Lead by industry veteran Jimmy P. Brown II who is the former brainchild for 90's ethereal metal band Deliverance, Fearful Symmetry is caught between the elusive world of dance music and a re-birth of 80's synth pop topped off with a very European industrial edge.
Brown's voice is what sets F.S. apart from its peers. The thick and sometimes brooding style coupled with sweet but piercing high notes make for a lovely mix of David Bowie 'esque crooning meets opera. All with a quirky Lennon thing as well. The music, well let's just say that if you wish to be moved, in any way. If you want to dance or sit in the dark. If you want to smile or slip into another dimension, Fearful Symmetry IS for YOU!
The diversity of Fearful Symmetry is what is captivating. Having only 2 releases under their belt, both are completely different of one another. And having been privy to their newest material, this fan can say that the Symmetry continues down the electronic path. But wearing new clothes. The 3rd release will again be a world apart from "A Loss of Balance". But, all good! I cannot stress this point enough. For those who do not crave the same diet over and over, but prefer to sample the banquet of life set before them, then there is no question that Jimmy P. Brown II and Fearful Symmetry is a healthy part of that banquet!
Fans of Germany's And One and Wumpscut will do well to make Fearful Symmetry a part of their daily musical diet. But, make no mistake! Fearful Symmetry will make a mark all their own and never be mistaken for anyone else!
