Music. People. Art. Reading. Writing. Computers. Sensual Pleasures. Happy Moments. My lovely children. Law and legal wanderings. Hopes and dreams. Laughter and smiles. Future and faith. Concerts with friends. Fighting for the under-dog. Standing up for what's right. Learning more every single day. Holding my arms open for life. Patience. This very moment.
You. Good people - people who are true to themselves and not hurtful in the process. People who reach first to understanding before judgment - just good people.
Music. This is always the hardest section. I have always said that I'd give anything to see James Taylor live... I absolutely love James Taylor. Yet, I've seen Seether live four times, Static-X was a favorite concert, Saliva and Powerman 5000... and then it wouldn't be unusual to find me at an opera with two of my best friends, or sitting on a patch of grass in the park listening to a lone guitarist singing random 60's tunes while I hum along. I love music. All of it. If it took the time to name all of it, ... well, I just couldn't do such a thing...
The Color Purple, Shawshank Redemption, Matrix (1, 2, & 3), Meet Me in St. Louis, Victor Victoria, Oliver, Chocolat', The Secretary, anything with Robin Williams, Scent of a Woman (gotta love Al Pacino), What Dreams May Come, Elizabethtown ... Movies that move you, make you think and make you feel. (I'm not one for scary movies... seems silly to pay someone to scare the @#$% out of you.)
I really don't watch much television - mostly movies. Actually... in my last home... you could find my television in the fireplace... really!
Hatrack River, Timetraveler's Wife, ... lots of books... Authors: Dean Koontz, Tom Robbins ... lots of authors.
My Grandmother, Peggy Hale. My three fearless brothers for surviving our raising. My kids. People who make the world better and those who practice random acts of kindness. (Like people in St. Louis.)
