Pretty ecclectic here so I like a LOT of different things. Would have to say that some of my undying all time faves would be Sublime, System of a Down, Portishead, Insane Clown Posse, and I absolutely love old school 90's and lots of 80's, which is mainly what i play when i spin.

Movies:
It's hard to pinpoint favorite movies when you watch so many and appreciate most. Some that stand out in my mind are What Dreams May Come, What's Eating Gilbert Grape, Requiem for a Dream, SFW, Donnie Darko, The Chumscrubber. I have a total affinity for a lot of obscure, obsolete, lesser known films, like anything by David Lynch (Mullholland Drive) or Greg Araki (Nowhere) , Kevin Smith before he got too mainstream (Mallrats the best). Saw a few really good ones with Sarah Polley lately--My Life Without Me, Last Night, The I Inside. I guess in my mind she would be the Queen of the Indie films and Fabrizio Filipo (waydowntown) would be King. Best movie quote ever: "I'm sorry, I guess I'm just not used to being chased through a mall at midnight by killer robots. (*SOB!)"--from "Chopping Mall" lol. Yes, I love horror as well, cheesy or not. I loved the Saw trilogy, Pulse, Rob Zombie flicks, Chopping Mall, April Fool's Day, all of the Nightmare on Elm Streets except part 2, Night of the Demons, the Hellraiser series, The Nightbreed, etc., and of course anythign by our very own Richard Griffin.

Television:
I spent many years avoiding TV and sticking only to cable programs, which I still love--i.e. Six Feet Under (I missed the damn last episode. After five faithful years, the most important episode, ARGH)(*UPDATE--i did finally see this a few months ago and i cried like a little bitch throughout most of it, especially the last twenty minutes and half an hour after it was over--so good!), Dead Like Me (is there a third season coming?). But over the past couple years I've also really gotten into Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Charmed, Smallville--EEWWWW! Yeah I finally did get sucked into those. How very demographic of me. I also highly appreciate Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, etc. My cousin is workin really hard on getting me hooked on nip/tuck--she is starting to succeed. That show is beyond fucked up. *OK, she succeeded! Season finale of third season was beyond FUCKED up! I was on the edge of my seat and horrified, though i kind of knew, by the outcome. The 4400--it's so the new X-Files, minus the aliens. When the hell is the third season coming??? Also gotta love the Family Guy--yes RI really is like that. I also notice I never list Law & Order, yet I find myself watching at least 7 eps a week, so I guess it's time to come out of denial and admit that it, too, is a fave. Judging Amy is kind of a guilty pleasure. If we wanna go old school then it was all about married with children, who's the boss, alf, growing pains, night court, perfect strangers, the ever fabulous nell carter in gimme a break, and of course mutha fuckin mama's family. what? you can't fuck with vicki lawrence. I finally have gotten into Heroes, so damn good!
Books:
Haven't read in a LONG LONG time, but I was highly devoted to Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles and as a young adult fan of Christopher Pike, I was very pleased with his foray into the adult world with the Season of Passage. I also recently read The Five People You Meet in Heaven, that was interesting. I have read The Da Vinci Code, Wicked: the Life and times of the Wicked
West within the last year, both very good reads. I also have always loved The Chronicles of Narnia and am absolutely ecstatic to see them finally coming to life in a non cheesy BBC fashion with today's technology. I highly commend and recommend the first installment of this series and am on the edge of my seat waiting for Prince Caspian, even though it was my least favorite book in the set.
Heroes:
Pan, the woodland god of mischief, partying and love. I think Richard Griffin has definitely found his way into this category as well, as have many of his actors and crew. You all are so hard working and good people and talented like whoa and i strive to join your ranks fully and wholly.
