About Me

At age 18, singer songwriter Paul J Johnson is a relatively young artist, but even so he is no stranger to the holy trinity of the music industry: song writing, making records, and the all important live show. A product of a folk singing family and growing up to the sounds of rock n’ roll, Paul J Johnson has a style that fuses the two genres into songs with the witty wordplay of Jack Johnson, the poetry of Paul Simon, the energy of Jason Mraz, and the boy next-door charm of John Mayer. Paul recently released his debut solo album, Sleepless, in which listeners can catch anything from a poppy pick-me-up tune such as “Under Rain” and “Bada Bapa” to smooth, reflective groves like “53”, or even let out their inner angst with string breaker “Don’t Give Me Away.”For booking and contact: [email protected]
