DemonAngel began in early 2006. Guitarist Pete Peralez was looking to start a new all original band. He was already a founding member of Virgin Force. A band that had played the club circuit for years. Coming along for the ride was Andy Esquivel... who was playing with Virgin Force at the time. Pete then recruited Jesse Lopez on drums. Jesse was the original drummer of local Thrashers Devastation, who in the late 80's and early 90's were touring with the likes of Sepultura, Slayer and King Diamond. The final piece of the puzzle was completed when singer/guitarist Oscar Mendez was given the call. Oscar had played in local bands like Inner Self and Loser back in the early 90's. His last stint was with Peace Train which desolved and became Cathouse. With all pieces complete the writing began. Within 5 months 10 originals had been completed and the first show had been done.
