First of all, I would like to personally say thank you to the sponsors, the performers, and to all of the fans, and music supporters, who attended the 2nd Birmingham Chicks Rockfest on September 15th, 2006.
It was a lot of work, and I must say that I was both mentally and physically drained after the show for at least a month.
As of January 1st, 2007, I have started working on the 3rd Birmingham Chicks Rockfest! I am so very proud to say "the third" Birmingham Chicks Rockfest! This is an event that I hold very dear to my heart. My reasons for the show are sincere, and are for no other reason but to support female musicians by giving them an outlet to share information, network, and gain exposure to help further their careers. My goals also are to bring attention to the vast number of styles and genres that female musicians bring to the table.
This year's event will be even bigger, and better!!! Keep checking our myspace page for updates on artist submissions, and pre Rockfest events.
