Honestly, I would truly like to meet a person that is genuine (far too few),inspiring, confident, intelligent, spiritual, kind, loving, non-religous, fun, fun-loving, someone who doesn't take themselves too seriously, honest, moral, decent, strong, self-assured but not ego ridden, someone who believes in human decency and not afraid to admit it, someone who isn't afraid to act on impulse and feelings and then not regret it or feel guilty afterward, someone who chooses carefully, yet chooses.
Someone like me!
And most importantly, I would love to meet Jesus, Ghandi and can't wait to meet up with my Warren again!
(yep, I am a damn dreamer!)

I finally scraped together enough money to actually buy the cd from James Hunter... Not a bad tune on the entire disc!
I love all genres of music and continue to learn all styles on bass. (and now since I won this awesome Daisy Rock guitar, I reckon I need to learn how to play it!
Some of my favorite artists and influences are: David Bowie, Neil Young, The Beatles, Aretha Franklin, Mary Wells, Todd Rundgren, Dwight Yokum, Sheryl Crow, Van Morrison, Keb Mo, Sting, Sarah Vaughn, Emilou Harris, Natalie Marchant, Nora Jones, Jill Scott and Traci Chapman.I also have a fondness for Depechmode, REM, and many others.
My very favorite movie is The Sound of Music, however I love so many different types and eras of movies that the list would go forever!

DAMN! I'm ranking up there ain't I? And I've always been told I look like David Bowie...go figure!I love PBS documentaries. Will and Grace is most likely my favorite show to watch. It reminds me of an updated "I Love Lucy". And the characters crack me up! I totally love Just Jack.
Here again it would have to be the first book I ever really read, which was "Gone with the Wind", however my new favorite book is written by my beloved Warren Henderson, "Miracle In Detour". He died four years ago from a staph infection that he contracted while undergoing cancer treatment at a local hospital. His book has been published and if you would like to order a copy, you may do so at www.warrenworld.org. Send a request and we'll get back to you.
First and foremost is my beloved Warren Henderson. Second, is definitely Barack Obama, but I sure hope that he doesn't disappoint me later! So many heroes in life have fallen off the pedestal I have put them on. Superman (the real one) is a close second to second,(yep, dreaming again!). I also love Martin (I should edit more often!) Luther King, Jr., John Kennedy, Ke-Ke, Oprah, and my daughter Crisstina. My recent realization of what a hero my Mama was has to top the list! She was the "real hero" in my life and I never realised it until I had to suffer through some of her pain on my own. Of course I also have to include in my list of heroes, anyone that has ever cared for a loved one that was terminally ill. Single moms that really try, not just rest on laurels, the government or someone else to carry them, be it emotional, financially or physically. Children raised by single moms or dads. Children of same sex marriages that do not allow themselves to fall prey to the hatred that is out there condemning their parents, children of bi-racial parents, women with balls, men with balls, St. Bernadette, Joan of Arc, Mother Teresa, Barbara Streisand, Jewel, Jewel's mom, Cher, Peanut (Desiree Fitts), my sisters, folks of "minority" heritage that overcome the stereotype and rise to the challenge without becoming bitter or hateful, Native Americans, Oprah (did I say Oprah AGAIN?), Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, beautiful women that refuse to settle for just being beautiful and what it can get you, Men that aren't afraid to stand up for themselves even if it hurts their wallet or their ego, Bobby Kennedy Jr. and Riverkeepers, Al Gore, Prince (or the artist formerly known as), every member of the Beatles, Todd Rundgren, David Bowie, my brother who after 33 years of coming out of the closet has been able to bring his life partner to a family reunion and not feel weird about it (YES!!!), adopted children, handicapped or disabled folks that continue to amaze me, single mothers of handicapped children, step-moms and dads (cause those are the ones that really get hated!), teachers that really teach and really care about teaching, ministers that really minister, friends that are true, anyone that has truly apologized for doing wrong, farmers, Tim Burgess, anyone that has ever found a loved one that has commited suicide and is still living themselves, Kevin Barton, anyone that has ever realized a hero quality in someone else and patterned themselves after that quality.
