Damn, Lizard!! How much water did you drink?!

About Me

****** I could write this in the third person and tell you how Lexi Pierson spent her early years surrounded by beautiful music and began to play the guitar at the age of 4. But, I think that is silly... so, I'll give you the dirty myself:I attribute my musical ear to my Mom who can play anything by ear on the piano - better than the original artist. (I acknowledge that her ability far exceeds my own.) A trio of wonderful guys (Uncle Dan, Daddy, and Pop) showed me the basics on a 1963 Sunburst Epiphone which hasn't been retired yet. I laid it across my lap and picked "What I Say", using my thumb to press down the strings against the neck. I remember anxiously awaiting the day when I could hold the guitar against my chest like the "grown-ups" did. So, a firm foundation was laid, a seed was planted, insert another banal analogy here...I started writing lyrics when I was 10, and wrote my first lyric/guitar combo on my 15th birthday, titled "All I Know". I joined several rock bands playing drums, bass, or rhythm guitar, and stayed in the school band as a first section trumpeter for 8 years. After high school graduation I spent 2 years playing in various locations on the east coast of the US before I decided to join the US Air Force. There, as a C-5 loadmaster, I was given the opportunity to travel around the globe (green Yamaha in hand) and share my songs with people, some of whom didn't understand the lyrics because they were written in English. The guitar, however, speaks a universal language :) awwww... One year before my discharge date I placed 1st in a base talent competition and was advanced to a final competition for a place in the traveling Air Force entertainment show, "Tops in Blue". That required a 4 year re-enlistment that I couldn't bring myself to commit to. In early 2005 my enlistment contract expired.Booking information: PRO STAR MANAGEMENT (727) - 204 - 8776 [email protected] ******************
