Ryan Gordon

Born Ryan Anderson Gordon on the 21st of November 1978, Ryan was destined to be used by God. Since as his mother tells the story of how he almost died as a baby from gastroenteritis. The doctor said that he would not have made it but his mother and her faith in God prayed a prayer. In her own words, she prayed to God saying that if God would heal her son she would give him back to God. So said so done and that is why this young man is with us today. By the grace of almighty God through our lord and savior Jesus Christ, he was and is saved today. This very modest and easy going young man has been through been through a lot of challenges in his life but has continued to give God all the praise for the strength and the purpose for every trial and tribulation. He has been a Christian all his life but really committed his life at the age of fourteen. He has been active in ministry from the age of sixteen as the sound engineer at his church and through the years has functioned as cleaner, youth leader, worship leader, youth pastor and has been a part of the leadership of his church by the age of twenty three, For Ryan has always shown a maturity far beyond his age. He blames it on the personal revelation of his lord and savior Jesus Christ that has captured his every desire and passion and as a ships rudder has steered him to the person he is today. Musically though Ryan has always been drawn to music but did not have the support to push him beyond just the passion and actually do something like singing or playing an instrument but as Ryan would put it ; the love of God and the love for his people gave him the inspiration to sing and also a purpose. As a worship leader, he fell in love with worship, how it opens the door of heaven and ushers in the move of the Holy Spirit. He was also inspired by his cousin the prolific producer, song writer and singer Sherwin Gardner who is not only his cousin but his best friend and as Ryan would say his brother to put an evangelistic message into the music to reach where the pulpit cannot. Ryan was known in the gospel music world as Christlike a group of young people from different churches with one purpose of which he was the lead singer. Ryan as Christlike was featured on many riddims and also on Sherwins album Who am I and Tiko and Gita Royal Priesthood and have shared the stage with the likes of Fred Hammond, Kirk Franklin, Prodigal son just to name a few. Ryan, who, for most of his life been confident and comfortable as a minister and worship leader had to overcome a lack of self-confidence in his newfound ministry as a gospel music minister; somehow Ryan said he felt less than and intimidated by the gifting of others and often hid in the background ultimately hiding his God given talent. With the help of his cousin Sherwin Gardner who enrolled him into his group as a back up to assist him with his self confidence and also the experience to over come this struggle. Sherwins love and patience seemed to have worked and Ryan has now emerged as a bold, hungry and purpose driven young man with the determination to leave his mark on the earth. Ryan said that he believes his purpose is to be part of Gods end time evangelistic drive to enlighten and rise up a people who are not ashamed of the gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Ryan is now an up and coming producer, song writer and singer a member of the elite of Flow Master Records under the leadership and tutorship of his cousin, Sherwin Gardner.
