About Me

Since last fall, The Jonah Veil have played countless shows in and around New England with some amazing local and national acts. In May of 07â€™ the band embarked on a full U.S tour that spanned 6 weeks from coast to coast. The tour in it's size was a first for each member, and as a result has brought the members closer together as family and as one solid unit. The time spent also gave the band a refreshing and inspiring outlook on love, life, and friendship.
In June of 2007 The Jonah Veil released their debut EP entitled "The End Of A Burden" on 13 Star Records. The EP features 7 tracks that showcase the bands unique blend of beauty and brutality while still displaying great musicianship and staying true to their roots.
The Jonah Veil's beautifully brutal style of songwriting offers a different sound than most. With influences such as Misery Signals, Means, A Day To Remember and Vanna, this dedicated group will continue to step up to the plate armed with musicianship, technicality and an intense live performance thats not to be reckoned with. As The Jonah Veil family conceptualize their musical direction and grow as people they are getting closer and closer to becoming an unstoppable force in the New England music scene.
