A SONG, AN EPIPHANY IS A FIVE PIECE OUTFIT FROM THE SOUTHERN PENNSYLVANIA AREA CONSISTING OF:
BRENT - DRUMS
ANDREW - VOCALS
GRANT - GUITAR
BONES - GUITAR
PJ - BASS
A lot has happened in the 18 months that A Song,An Epiphany has been a band. After enduring a few member changes, the Pennsylvania five piece has solidified their lineup and the progress made is already more than obvious. ASAE’s knack for blending their metal and hardcore influences with landscapes of melody and technicality has already won them the attention of over 20,000 listeners throughout the music community. The band just recently came out of the studio with producer Carson Slovak (August Burns Red, Once Nothing) and is currently playing shows all over the east coast in support of their new recordings that were also mastered by Dan Coutant of WestWest Side Mastering (Dillinger Escape Plan, Every Time I Die). Having two members still not in their twenties, the band stresses that audiences not judge them by their age, “We’re still learning a lot but everything that we’ve experienced in the past year in a half year has made us such a stronger and better band†sounds off vocalist Andrew Lim. And quite an experience they have had. Not only has the band shared the stage with the likes of The Number Twelve Looks Like You, August Burns Red, and The Banner, but they also had the opportunity this past November to be a part of New Jersey’s own, Saints and Sinners Festival rubbing shoulders with bands like Glassjaw, Against Me!, and Saves The Day. With the release of the band’s first CD, “The Absence†and an undeniable mentality of hard work and dedication, there’s absolutely no telling the heights that their potential will carry them to.
