About Me
Laurence Allison, singer, lyricist, librettist, studies the piano at five, enters the recording field at nine and sings in the Paul Kuenz Baroque choir, then, turns to Jazz music at eighteen.Performs in clubs and theatres ( in Paris: Elysée Montmartre, Chaillot theatre, Gaveau, Wagram, Rond-Point theatre, Méridien, Bataclan etc... and also in Germany and England ).Records and participates in many festivals ( T.B.B, Montpellier, Banlieues bleues, Chorus, Crest, Coutances, Reims, Tombées de la nuit, Nantes, Limoges, Parthenay,Vauban, Copenhagen ...) as a side woman with Warren Bernhart, Steve Grossman trio, Dave Burrell, Georges Arvanitas, Franck Wess, Reggie Johnson, French contemporary music composer André Mouret, Marc Steckar,world-electro-jazz group Alata,Herve Krief funk-electro group, Afro-Cuban orchestra Salsa y boogaloo ...Many big bands as Gerard Badini or Laurent Mignard"Duke Box" invite her.She has recorded two albums with her own quartet and sextet ( Philippe Soirat, Laurent Coq, Jules Bikôkô bi NJami, Olivier Zanot, Sophie Alour, Jean-Luc Arramy ).
More recently, she plays and records with Alain Jean-Marie, Laurent Coq, Benoît Sourisse, Jean-Marie Ecay, Niels Lan Doky, Didier Lockwood, Marcel Azzola.Discography:(Guest)
