My interests include trying new classes all the time. My newest classes this summer are: Pole dancing (harder than it looks, lol), rock climbing (in-door; not ready for the real mountains yet), capoira (always wanted to try this).
I love to read, but can't find as much time for it as I'd like..., dancing (all forms of dance... but my fav's are hip hop and salsa). All Amy Tan books, but my favorite is 'The Kitchen God's Wife', all Bebe Moore Campbell books, Alex Haley's Queen and Roots, all Naomi Ragen books (all based in Isreal), Long Walk to Freedom (based on Nelson Mandela), Memoirs of a Geisha, and the Wealthy Barber (great for personal finance info:)
Heroes:
My heros are the people closest to me: my mom for spending her life taking care of foster kids, my dad for showing me that you can create your career from doing what you love, my boyfriend for being the strongest, most disaplined and supprotive person I know (and for trying to show me how to be this person), my grandma for too many reasons to mention, and my sister for living her dream no matter how hard it can be at times...
