About Me

Survivor of my very own internal Civil War. Used to be my worst enemy, real happy go lucky, self-destructive, FTW. Took the live-fast-die-young credo to heart, glad to be alive to tell the tale. Have fallen many a times but will never give up. In spite of it all I still see the glass half full. Feel fortunate to be able to continue the pursuit of my dreams, for I found happiness when I found love and I found love when I found sobriety. Self-educated, learned by my mistakes and got the scars and broken bones to prove it. Still an eternal dreamer forever following a Quimera. Melancholic by nature, comedian by choice, I consider laughter my biggest gift to give. Love my two sons; Andrew & Iñaki, my wife Dama (truly my better half), black humor, irreverence, non-politically-correct everything and rebels in general. Hope to achieve a small degree of wisdom and maturity before I croak.

My Interests

Immigration issues, Economy, Latino issues, Puerto Rican issues, Sports, Politics, Urban Fashion, Law, Cool & Decadent Science Fiction, Japanese animation.

I'd like to meet:

Intelligent and fun loving NPC subersives with something of substance to say and/or worthwhile to do.

Music:

Eclectic - From preppy to punk. Most Latino and World music beats. As long as it got soul and the performers sweat their asses off, I'm down with it.

Movies:

Independent and Foreign. Anything with satirical and black humor in it, nothing too artsy-fartsy.

Television:

Heroes, LatinNation, Law and Order, Cane, The Closer, Psych, LATV, Project Runway, News, Top Chef, ESPN, Mun2, 60 Minutes

Books:

Too burned out to remember specifics even though I always have a book by my side.

Heroes:

Dreamers and every single individual who has fallen six times but have gotten up seven. Those who have the COJONES to say no to bad relationships, to drug and alcohol abuse as well as negativity in general who dared to do a 180 and walked away, towards the light, never to look back.
