Emmet - Lets make the noise!

About Me

Emmet are a fusion of dance music wizardry and pure live force. The Emmet philosophy is that dance music should be created live on stage and they succeed using an armoury of samples, filters, synths, vocals, vocoders, guitars and live rhythm creation. And its grrrrrrrreat. For genre, put maximal.2006 has seen Emmet win the Kerrang! Radio/Gut Records ‘New Breed’ competition to become their favourite ‘new’ band for 2006.
In 2006 we remixed tracks for Icicle Works frontman Ian McNabb and in 2005 we remixed the snooker theme for BBC2. 2006 also saw use feature on a compilation from Leeds label ‘I Can Count Music’, have airplay on BBC 6 Music, remix airplay on XFM’s The Remix and had the obligatory cash in football record (albeit in disguise) playlisted on TV stations The Box, The Hits, Smash Hits TV and Q TV.
