From this moment I was destined to bring dubbed tribal breaks deeper into Long Island by learning the underground scene through mentorship and partnerships with Ira (Essence, Excel, Stage Engineer for the Greatful Dead), Kevin Kraft, Alex That & DJ Micro (Caffiene, That's Krafty), Dennis-da-Menace & Eddie Van Raven (Park Rave Crew), Scott Richmond & Mr. Kleen (Satellite Records, Sputnik), and Scotto & DB (Nasa) whom were/are major players in the Rave/Underground Dance Club scene. From there, I held numerous events at Caffiene, started Club Drum with partner J.D., and founded Dimension of Sound(DOS) under Apocalypse Productions in 1994. Aside from the clash of NY DJ's and crews, DOS was the first major event to introduce Jungle into the rave scene with much love & respect for Koncrete Jungle and Liquid Sky with (Carlos) Soul Slinger on the decks. Other than being Soul Slinger's birthday, this was the birth of Jungle in NYC to over 2500 people in a 90,000 sq ft indoor trucking dock in Long Island City. The most enjoyable time was listening to afterhour DJ's, Shining Cloud & Dante (Where are you? & thank you Alan Sanctuary) who spun until 4pm at the famous Kent Ave. Brooklyn afterhours spot.Now, your music purveyor where feelgood vibes reappear with an old skool vibe that NY had once shared.Peace, Love, XTC - P.L.U.R.VibeTribe - still strong!
