The Cuban Heels incorporate a wide range of influences and have been described as a mixture of Dylan, VU, Stooges, Bad Seeds, Pavement, Waits and Wilco.
The music is generally acoustic and electric guitar driven often filled with Sarah's gorgeous slide and David's thundering hammond or sweet piano. Mal's drums sit somewhere between Keith Moon and Jim White.
The Cuban Heels have been playing as a band for around 3 years and Carl and Jo have been writing songs together for more than 10.
