*Miss Jess (born Jessica Coppola) is currently in the studio with Grammy Award winning producers Play-N-Skillz, working on her first album in Los Angeles, CA. Her project is being guided by close friend and "Ultimate HYPE MAN" Spliff Star. Jess established a wide-range of culture by residing from New York & Boston all the way to New Mexico.
Growing up, she was a very ambitious individual. All through out high school Jess worked as a radio personality for one of the largest radio stations in NM, which made her the youngest dj to ever work in the state at that level. Jess then went on to work for CR Productions/Miss Universe and then on to join the U.S. Army for 3 years when she was 17-years-old. With a true passion for music defeating her career as a soldier, Jess found nothing more exhilarating than to move to the infamous "Hollywood" to pursue her music career.
It didn't take much time to build herself a huge network in the industry. Always falling into the "right" situations and into the hands of the "right" people Jessica knew her claim to fame was just around the corner. The stars were lining up. Between amazing talent and social skills she began to gain great support from very established producers in her field of music. "I moved to Los Angeles 3 years ago to pursue my dream. It was the best decision I've ever made! I always knew it was only a matter of time, but now that the time is here, I'm still a little stunned, haha!"
This soulful R&B artist has worked with Duane "Da Rock" Ramos, Benny Blanko, MG (Mr. Platinum), Shorty P (Clover G's), Play-N-Skillz and many more! "One night I was in the studio with Dre and some friends. We were writing a song and singing the 'libs' to it. Dre turned to us and asked, 'who is that singing?'. They all pointed at me and I was then asked to write to one of his tracks and hop in the booth. It seemed so surreal, but at that moment when I was in there with my phones on and watching him staring back at me, I was so comfortable, I knew I was right where I needed to be. That it was just the beginning...".
Jess has plans to work with special producers/artists in the future consisting of Swizz Beats, Spliff Star, Ludacris and more.
