¡YO! is a recently formed media production company designed to produce high-quality television programs focused on the music and lifestyles relevant to young Latinos in America.¡YO! television programs are smart and sexy, utilizing an urban format and bright, colorful, vivacious pop-culture aesthetic. Though the aim of programming is to entertain, ¡YO! explores a variety of serious issues important to young Latino Americans through the lens of music and lifestyle programming. Some of the issues addressed are: identity in a bicultural world, addressing prejudices or pre-conceived notions of Latino Americans, peer pressure, sexual health, etc.¡YO! programs focus on the trends and issues that are relevant to Latino Americans, while still honoring the differences between Latino groups.
