About Me

Rob is an Interfaith Evangelism Associate with the North American Mission Board (Southern Baptist Convention) focusing on comparative religions and non Christian cults. He holds an earned a B.A. in Religious Studies from Oklahoma Baptist University and a M. Div. with biblical languages from Mid America Baptist Theological Seminary. Rob, his wife, and daughter are active members in a local church in the Fredericksburg, VA area.
Rob is the founder and director of Reasonable Faith Ministries , an evangelical ministry focused upon equipping ambassadors for Christ to engage and challenge those forwarding ideas in the culture with the biblical Christian world view.
The Certificate in Christian Apologetics from Biola University, as part of the Certified Apologetics Instructor Program is complete. The Dynamic Communicators Workshop is now done. Now I am in the final step, which is the Practicum phase of my training. As part of this final step I need to present at total of 30 apologetics related presentations before I can become certified with the North American Mission Board as a Certified Apologetics Instructor (See http://www.4truth.net ). I have 4 more to go and this part will be done.
Still if you would like a presentation that will equip you, your church, or your group, please let me know by messaging me here on MySpace or email me at [email protected]. I can give you a contact phone number where can set up the time and event. I am more than happy to come, equip, and share with your church or group..

My Interests

I like most sports, both indoor and outdoor. I am a student of the game of baseball as well as an avid New England sports fan and card carrying member of the Red Sox Nation. Also am a die hard fan of the three time Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots. I love the outdoors, and enjoy tent camping and fishing.
I also have a heart for evangelism dovetailed with mind engaging apologetics. To see what I mean let me challenge you to click on the icon to see a great presentation.

I'd like to meet:

1. Jesus Christ. Though I have met Him spiritually speaking, I look forward to the day when I see Him in His glory, face to face.

2. The Apostle Paul, Elijah, Job, and Moses...all for different reasons that you might be able to figure out.
3. Realistically speaking in the here and now...Brothers and sisters in the faith who need encouragement and equipping for ministry. People who consider themselves thinkers and opinion makers. Fellow apologists wanting to "kick around" some ideas to better equip the churches. Anyone else that just wants to meet this weird Christian who loves God with the heart, the soul and the MIND.
4. And yes even those with whom I debate with in the Religion and Philosophy Forum.

See if you can figure this guy out? Is he a Christian or an Atheist? The answer will surprise you!

Music:

I like different genres of Christian music so long as the goals, graphics, lyrics lifestyles and beliefs line up with a biblical world view. I also love some good ole gospel music and classical music. Favorite bands on the top of my list are Kerry Livgren and AD, Third Day, Jars of Clay, Kutless, Mercy Me, Casting Crowns, Rush of Fools, Tenth Avenue North, Ten Monkey Theory, Natalie Grant, and The Newsboys.

Movies:

Take a Worldview Test

Check out

Television:

Every so often I turn on the TV and I come to the same conclusion. There is nothing new under the sun when it comes to garbage that is being force fed into average American living room and mind by the "one-eyed god" television.
I use the television mostly for entertainment videos that edify, encourage, equip, and entertain under a biblical worldview.
I welcome your dialogue and questions on this.
