Ohio native Kelsey Skaggs is a 17 year old singer/songwriter. She has been singing and performing since she was 3. Music has always been a huge part of her life, and she has recently committed to pursuing it full time. Kelsey has been playing the guitar for 2 years and it is an integral part of her musical journey. Currently, Kelsey plays and sings with the praise and worship band in her church nearly every Sunday and Wednesday. Upon request, she loves the opportunity to travel to and do special music at other churches. Kelsey is a born again Christian and firmly believes that God has a plan for her music and it is her responsibility to polish and refine her music for Him. So far, her music has been a very exciting adventure. She would like to share her music with the world through missions, but ultimately, that decision is up to God, so where the road travels and ends up is fine with her.
Kelsey has written songs with deep spiritual meaning such as The Cross, Gardener’s Gloves and Through it All. But she also has a lighter side, with the songs Facebook and Pick up a Book.
Kelsey also enjoys donating her time and talent to various caring organizations with the hope that she can make a difference in people's lives. Most recently Kelsey has used her talent to help with the 60th annual Toys-for-Tots campagn in Nashville, TN.

"I first met Kelsey a couple of weeks ago when I listened to her hit song, "Facebook Admirer". That song is such a hit on so many levels it's really hard to describe. For this day and age, it's literally the perfect pop song. In 2008 I predict Kelsey will sign a record deal - if that's what she chooses to do. I believe by mid-summer 'Facebook Admirer' will be one of the most popular and written about songs on the internet. And Kelsey will be well on her way. -NashvilleHype.com
