Our News From the Road this month features "The Farm" the Quillen's place out on West National Rd. in Springfield. What a unique place. About 210 years old, it used to be a stagecoach stop. This is a place to put on your favorite list of places to visit. Our Behind the Mic this month is Eddie Napier, check out his story and his shows. Our Rising Star is Al Holbrook, a local, talented, singer songwriter who I had the pleasure of hearing at one of the Roadhouse Acoustic Nights. Check his website for a listing of his shows and to purchase his CD. On Stage this month is Somewhere Between, who I got to check out on a couple different occasions. They do some great Jimi Hendrix and have some good originals too! Make sure you give them a listen.Centerstage is back and is taping now in a variety show style instead of a contest. Mitch Albertson is back with another music business article, see what his words of wisdom are (also if you see him out ask him how he likes AAA).
