Continuously stepping up the gear but never losing the groove, perfectly describes Sint Maartens top party and club DJ known region-wide as The Cut Creator DJ Outkast. The Cut Creator DJ Outkast was born C. Hodge on the island of Sint Maarten, Dutch West Indies. At a very young age, Outkast started experimenting on some old turntables, a CD player and a cassette deck in his basement worked on perfecting his knowledge of music. By the time he was 16, Outkast started playing for birthday parties and other small events.
In June 2004, DJ Outkast traveled to The Netherlands for the first time, where he played at venues in Rotterdam, Utrecht, and Deventer. These events prepared DJ Outkast for what was ahead of him in the coming months as in August, international beer distributor Heineken held its very first Green Synergy DJ Competition, featuring the islands best DJs. DJ Outkast, the youngest DJ in the competition at age 20, won hands down. As Sint Maartens Champion, DJ Outkast placed second in Antigua for the Caribbean finals of the Green Synergy Competition.
Since the Green Synergy experience, Cut Creator DJ Outkast has been making his mark throughout the Caribbean and Europe. He has been instrumental in promoting St. Maarten through his musical talent. Outkasts quick mixes and energetic style of playing is the reason why his popularity has been on a rise with promoters and fans alike. With a vast travel history in the past 2 years, Outkast has entertained party people in more than 10 countries and over 15 cities in his quest to make his name a household name wherever he plays.
Most recently DJ Outkast produced an intro along with Gee Money for the legendary DJ Spinderellas (Salt & Peppa) syndicated radio program in the USA receiving airplay throughout the country.
Also Dj Outkast Produced & featured In a collaberation with Gee Money in a song that is being called " The St Maarten Hip Hop Anthem " Entitled St Maarten Shit!!
