.............After being named the best deejay of the year (2007) by St.Maarten’s no.1 NEWS MEDIA (The Daily Herald) and winning best Deejay of the year consecutively at St. Maarten’s Annual S.T.M Awards there is no doubt that on St.Maarten/St.Martin DeejBlaze is the No.1 DeeJay ,Party rocker & entertainer. (..the peoples champ..). When it comes to hyping a crowd, rocking a party, concerts and clubs local or abroad Deejblaze is second to none. Deejblaze is known internationally for his biggest and longest Birthday Bashment Party. His Birthday Bash Week is 6 nights of partys/concerts which takes place at six different venues over the entire island. This event has drawn the attention of many Tourist, International Artist, Musicians and Deejays. DeejBlaze Birth Bash Week is the biggest week of party on St.Martin/St.Maarten and it takes place every summer (first week of August). DeejBlaze was born Dexter Blaize in the republic of Trinidad & Tobago in the year 1976. He migrated to St.Martin/St.Maarten in 1996 on a job offer as a barber. In 1997 some of his barber colleagues saw the passion that he had for music an encouraged him to get into the dj business. Of course it started as a bedroom hobby but his mixing, scratching and mc. skills developed rapidly and by late 1999 he was one of the most popular Dj's in St.Maarten/St.Martin. Over the past 10 years Deejblaze has put out 9 mix tapes, played in too many parties, concerts (including local & abroad) and international countries alongside many international artist such as DMX, Vybz Kartel, Beenie Man, Jimmy Cliff, T.O.K, Ludakriss, Elephant Man, Ricky-T, Macka Diamond, Hawkeye, Problem Child and Sizzla just to name a few. He has also performed alongside some big international sound systems (DJ.s) like Stone Love, Ardani, Top Secret, Stone Wall & Platinum Sound. Deejblaze has also brought the hype to all of St.Maarten/St.Martin RADIO STATIONS & NIGHT CLUBS like Club Crystal, Club Bamboo Vert, ClubTunnel, Club Pure, Club Mambo, Q-Club, Club Bliss, Club Milord, Heavens Club, Club Star Bar, Reggae Cafe.., Cats, Secret, DejaVu, Alley, Club Vybz and Club 51/50. And he is the only Deejay that dominates the both sides of island of St.Maarten/St.Martin. (HE GOT NO BORDERS - French nor Dutch). DeejBlaze is a very versatile DJ. He mainly specializes in dancehall, hip hop and soca but he also plays other types of music (depending on the crowd or venue). DeejBlaze is at best in Clubs, Concerts & Radio. .. .. Deejblaze A.K.A.
