HyperFocus is not just a band that wants to be heard. They are a band that wants you to listen. With high energy live shows, music that sits on the outside of any specific genre, and a message that carries a sense of urgency, HyperFocus is carving out its own niche in the local music scene.
HyperFocus formed during the decline of singer Joseph Dravenstatt's previous project Casualkiller. Initially a solo project, Joseph began writing and putting together songs without the intent of outside help, but a chance meeting with Ryan Keeton would lead to the two collaborating, removing the solo project status from the group.
The pair began working with various local musicians, to complete a line-up but different musical agendas caused a rotation in band members. After nearly a year and four different line ups HyperFocus arrived at its current line up of Joseph Dravenstatt, Ryan Keeton, Adam Schachterle, and Justin Brown.
