About Me

Who Am I?
My sole objective is to promote the scene itself through myspace. All of us - Dj's, producers, promoters, we all want to promote ourselves, our events, our mixes, and our latest release. But AoEM wants to promote the scene itself. So we say to you, do you have an event/mix/release you want us to help you promote? Please, send us links. Anything scene related, we want to know about, so let us know so we can pass the word. Party hard, drive safe, and please - DON'T STOP DANCING!!!
One Night: A recent conversation
A very good friend of mine where in the midst of a late night(early morning?)conversation. We've both heard each other stories of parties, experiences, Dj's, thousands of times. First parties came up, and I told my story. It wasn't the story that was my point, but rather the realization that followed. I described this place, this vibe, these people, the music, the smell (you know;)), the atmosphere. It was special. Now, going on 10 years in this scene, I said -
"To think one night had such an impact on my life, who I am, and what I do, who I know, and who knows me. To think one night could last all these years, albeit a lifetime when I'm gone. One night could spark a love not for just the music, vibe, and dancing, but all of these and more - The scene it self. One night changed all of us. One night...One night."

I'd like to meet:

If your into the scene, electronic music, dancing, Djs, or producing, we want to meet you!!! The Assembly Of Electronic Minds is a group who's objective is to facilitate a sustained climax of the rapidly expanding rythmic culture. Wow over the past ten years I personally have witnessed an evolution of the scene here in Detroit. I Many other cities across the country are witnessing change, Scene decline, expansion, or being initiated. Wow - It makes me proud to say I'm part of this thing we call the scene.
