Now in its 18th year, The Deadwood Jam continues to evolve as the Black Hills premiere multi-genre music festival.
Conceived by Jon McEuen of The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band in 1990, the festival has continually grown, and has presented national and world-reknowned acts such as Koko Taylor, Robert Cray, Leon Russell, Johnny Winter, Big & Rich, Jerry Jeff Walker, Asleep at the Wheel, Michael Martin Murphey, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Jonny Lang, George Clinton & P-Funk, Leftover Salmon, The Young Dubliners, John Hiatt, Keller Williams, Taj Mahal, Wilson Pickett, and many others.
The Deadwood Jam is known as the hottest music event in the Black Hills.
