Livin a dream

About Me

Lets see, I do not really like to talk about myself, but I will. I have a dream job working in the music industry. I have been working in music and entertainment since I 13. I started setting up sound for events and announcing base ball games in Brighton. When the school decided to buy PA equiptment, I was the guy who learned how to use it. I began DJing about the same time. I started at Rollies Roller Rink and learned the craft from Memphis #1 DJ, Stan "The Man" Bell. It was then I knew I wanted to be involved with music the rest of my life! From the skating rink, I went on to local radio stations before deciding to make the move to the big city. I worked at a couple stations around town, DJed parties, and ran a recording studio. While in the studio I became interested in music events in Memphis. I worked with Crossraods and several other events before landing a dream job at the Blues Foundation. Now I travel the country ( the boss gets to go out of country) to Blues Festivals. I also produce the International Blues Challenge, which brought 130 acts to Memphis last year, and The Blues Music Awards (formally The W.C. Handy Awards)which is held at the Cook Convention Center. I also produce a national radio show which will be carried on XM radio.I also work for Joe Bonamassa booking Blues in the Schools programs around the world and as a Radio Consultant.I have a great daughter, that I love very much! I miss her when she is not here.....
