I'm interested in most everything that has to do with food - I am constantly reading about it, watching it on TV, thinking about it, dreaming about it, talking about it, and eating it. Lately I've had to take an interest in commercial restaurant equipment, lighting, decor, electrical supply - everything to do with opening a restaurant in other words! I'm interested in keeping my children on the right path. I've been studying Celtic culture - mainly Irish. I love to garden but I haven't had time. I'm into nutrition, exercise, music, reading, researching, and trying to somewhat keep up with my household. Not an easy task with three boys and their friends around all the time!
I want more friends with some ambition! Come on people! Allow yourself to dream, and then do something about it! I'd like to meet a few celebrity chefs: Anthony Bourdain, Bobby Flay, Cat Cora, Tyler Florence, there are many more!
When it comes to musicians, I don't get as starstruck as I used to - I think now it's more of an admiration for their passion and talent, than their celebrity. As for actors, actresses, comedians; Meryl Streep is great, and so is Shirley McLain, Kate Winslet, Jack Nicholson, Tom Hanks, Harrison Ford, Mel Gibson (in Braveheart) Sean Connery - Geez, there are so many! I love Samuel L. Jackson and I want to party with him! Kathy Griffin cracks me up, as does Dane Cook (my son turned me on to him). I also like Martin Lawrence, Dave Chapelle, all of the SNL lineups through the years (especially the first), Richard Pryor, I could go on and on! I just would really like to meet people who are upbeat and have some life and ambition in them! Also, women I can actually relate to who aren't catty and judgemental.

I like all types of music - including Celtic, it's emotional to me - there is such history behind it. Heavy metal has been a huge part of my life also, it's where I met my husband - way back in the hair band days! He was a guitar player in bands that used to play clubs in Orange County & Hollywood, California. Yes, I spent alot of time in clubs back then! AND THIS IS WHAT WE LOOKED LIKE!!!
| View Show | Create Your OwnI like too many bands to list here - ranging from classical to headbangin metal. I like listening to female vocalist more than male - especially if they have some soul and are a little edgy. Good examples would be Nikka Costa, Storm Large, Dilana Rox, Joss Stone, Sheryl Crow, Ani Difranco, Linda Perry from 4 Non Blondes, Tori Amos, Courtney Love, Dusty Springfield, Nancy Sinatra, Janice Joplin, Grace Slick, Ann & Nancy Wilson of Heart, and so many more!Grace SlickAnn & Nancy Wilson of HeartNancy WilsonChrissie Hynde of the PretendersBad-ass Joan JettLinda PerryNikka CostaTori AmosCourtney LoveStorm LargeAnd maybe not a rockstar, but could be if she wanted to be!
My girl Kat Von D! She is her own person, and can play a mean piano!I also started getting into bluegrass/americana type music - like the stuff on "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?" and "Cold Mountain", alot of Jack Whites stuff. Who would have thought? I love it though. It's different. There is more I can't think of!
I like real movies - epic type stuff, and the kind of movies that show the lengths that people will go to for love! Braveheart, Gladiator, 1st Knight, Lord of the Rings (all), The Last Samarai, Cold Mountain (could be the most favorite?), Harrison's Flowers, chick flicks like Terms of Endearment. Then there's always Quentin Tarantino's twisted flicks like Pulp Fiction (another most favorite)and Jackie Brown. There are some funny ones like the first Austin Powers, Spaceballs, Blazing Saddles, Raising Arizona, Oh Brother Where Art Thou? All good examples of the type of stuff I like - but definitly not a complete list.
I watch alot of Food Network & Fineliveing. I also watch VH1 Shows, Discovery Channel, and movies - but not as much.
Anything food & beverage, restaurant, business, leadership, nutrition, and Celtic culture. Don't have much time for anything else.

Jesus Christ, the U.S. Military, and I very much admire all of the Irish Rebel groups - now and throughout history - who have had to endure and rise against fierce oppression!AND MY DAD - RIPMcGee Coat of Arms - in honor of Daniel S. Gee
