** LIVI NITESPOT closure forces an end to weekly Indiebar LIVE band shows **
After nearly 18 months of the weekly Indiebar LIVE band showcases at the Livi Nitespot I&8217;m sad to say that we have been forced to end the shows due to circumstances beyond our control at Livingston FC.
Spoke today to Livi FC representative and had it confirmed that basically the club/venue has ceased trading as LICENCED premises due to an agreement with the future developers of the housing around the stadium. The developer also stipulated they didn't want crowds of people hanging around at night (potentially drunk and noisy) at the weekends.
So for now all the shows have been cancelled.
We will be on the look out for any other venues looking to move into the LIVE music area but this has been a problem in West Lothian for as long as i can remember so i don't hold out much hope of anywhere popping up in the near future. Anyone who is the owner/manager of somewhere, knows somewhere or has any other ideas of places that can hold 200 people and a whole LIVE music stage show please feel free to drop me a line.
