About Me

Myspace Layouts - Myspace Editor

Okay, I've been here for four years now this month of March... Wow! For the most part this myspace exerience for me has been a great one. I've made many friends, had great conversations, encountered strangeness, improved my writting ability with typing for one thing and descriptions of emotion and events the other, and just plain had some great laughs!I have grown a lot more patient with people, and with myself. I have a much broader view on life and the world from my travels. Those who are on my friend list that have help me with travel or I've helped with theirs, unforgettable times!!I still do enjoy being open to meeting anyone. Much of my personal life are in my blogs, though if you have a question feel free to ask. Even if you just like my smile you may go ahead send me a friend request... Although, I do have to like your smile too!! lolTake care and happy myspacing!! :o)

My Interests

Legit ones: Watching racing, mtn biking, snowboarding, putting my truck in 4 wheel drive, poping my neighbor's cat in the butt with my air pistol as he stalkes Mr. Squirrl (not in my yard you don't!), I am a cat guy though, music where the musicianship is fresh (remember "Free for All"?), recently getting into home construction, railing a turn in my Mazda on Mulhulland Drive, snapping a cool pic of a friend's smile, nailing a cool work-around with our crazy applications here at work, finding a cool shirt, the taste of a good German beer, the smell of pot because of all the memories of all the munchies, looking and finding a Christmas tree, the beach, a bbq with friends, cooking a steak for my mom, recently - Texas Holdem' poker, a new lunch spot and sunrises and sunsets. Indugent ones: To be totally stunned by a beautiful woman that I can't even look at her (becoming a complete idiot over someone I don't even know), wine with my meal, loud radio play in my truck, cigars, black tea, email, driving, hitting golf balls, slamming a goal for foosball or making a bank shot to sink the 8 ball, channel surf, taking pictures (bless the digital age), guest lists, travel, speeding, riding an illeagal trail - at night! Oh, and Chrisma Carpenter.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who knows how to tell a joke. And anyone who knows what "late breaking" is...

Music:

My choices here are not to be greatly shared because I don't keep track of who plays what on the radio. I can say I listen to a lot of hard tunes because I'm a product of 80's rock (yes, I saw KISS in '76 at the Forum) and I was influenced by punk during my skate years. My latest play list in my truck has been Flotsam and Jetsam, Dream Theater, Fu Manchu, Perfect Circle, Pantera, Static X, Slayer, Testament, Racer X, Cypress Hill, Finless Brown, Dokken, a local band called Dig Jelly, also, Red Snow and love Metal Skool!!! I generally gravitate towards musicianship, so, I found my ear being caught by some rap and hip hop because of the angles of melody, writting and balance of sounds. I have taken classical guitar lesson for 2 years so I have an appreciation for virtuosity (which has really been lacking in radio music for the last 7 or so years), I miss a good hook. Emenim gets my node some here, not quite a master but has raised the bar. It's all good though, if it makes you tap your foot you are in the right place. :o) Here are some Flotsam and Jetsam videos for your listening pleasure! Smoked out Swatting at Flies Wading Through The Darkness Straight To Hell

Movies:

Anything I can't figure out before the end. Though, I'm a guy so guess what I like... :o) Sci Fi, irony, comedy and philosophy.

Television:

Dirty Jobs, How It's Made, Dog Whisperer, TLC, Speed Channel for F1 and WRC (World Rally Championship), Frontline, American Chopper, Rides, NCIS, The Unit, SouthPark (on the rare occation I catch it), Stargate Atlantis, Battle Star Galactica, Lakers, Dodgers, Golf tournements, Tennis majors, BBC news, Home repair and restoration, NOVA and The Actors Guild

Books:

I have one book. I have been reading it for 6 years. Pitiful. It's an anthropological study of gangs and graffitti here in LA. I originally got it because I was interested in finding pieces of work like the ones I see on the way home, I'm facinated by the imagination and contrast colors (again, the cartoon reference). But now I understand the throw ups, roll calls, hip hop and political crap that is written up in my neighborhood... I guess I'd like to be stranded on an island with a library. :o)

Heroes:

Parents. People in public safety. Scientist, for their objectiveness. Inventors. Teachers. Volunteers. Cheerleaders, really, think about it. Musicians.
