About Me

Introduction:
•I Made a promise on the grave of my parents to rid Gotham City of the evil that took their lives. By day, I am Bruce Wayne, billionare philanthrapist. At night, criminals, a cowardly and supersticious lot, call me...BATMAN.
In the beginning:
•A citizen of the crime-ridden Gotham City, Bruce Wayne was born into a wealthy family. As Batman, he uses the benefits of his wealth as well as his intellectual and physical abilities to fight the injustices burned into his mind by the death of his parents.
•While brooding in his study over how to be a more effective crime fighter, Bruce Wayne saw a bat crash through his window and perch on the bust of his father. Realizing that "criminals are a cowardly and superstitious lot," Bruce adopts the persona of a bat in order to conceal his identity and strike fear into his adversaries. It is as a result of this incident that the batsuit was developed.
•Bruce goes out for the first time as Batman and stops a trio of teenagers from stealing a television. A brief struggle ensues, resulting in the Dark Knight's first victory. The legend quickly grows with Batman attacking criminals with increasing boldness, including Flass, who was present at one crime, receiving a pay off from the criminals. One night, when the corrupt city leaders and gangsters like Carmine Falcone gather for a dinner party, Commissioner Loeb explains why Batman is politically advantageous to themselves, assuming he would never bother them; meanwhile, Batman sneaks onto the grounds, puts the guards to sleep and sets up stage lights around the window that comprises one of the dining room walls. He cuts the electricity, throwing the room in darkness, blows a hole in the outside wall and then activates the lights. He gives the men and women a dire warning that he is just as determined to deliver them to justice as well, then leaves.
•Bruce Wayne is often seen by the public as not much more than a playboy, with little to recommend him but the wealth he inherited. He encourages this perception in order to draw attention away from his nightly missions as Batman. Wayne is truly a successful businessman, who guides or participates both in running the company he inherited, Wayne Enterprises, and in the philanthropic efforts of The Wayne Foundation. Batman is portrayed as being more of a real, complete person than Bruce Wayne, who exists merely as Batman's cover.
•The police try to capture Batman numerous times, but Bruce is too elusive and alert to fall for their traps. In addition, the maverick district attorney, Harvey Dent, becomes Batman's secret ally. After the police chase him down, Batman flees into an abandoned building.
•When cops arrive on the scene, the commissioner is quick to call in the trigger-happy Branden and his squad to drop a bomb on the building, which the Commissioner claims has already been scheduled for demolition. After suffering two dizzying gun wounds, Batman escapes into the secure basement and survives the blast. A crowd gathers outside the building. Batman uses a small device in his boot to summon thousands of bats from his cave to the building. A battle occurs as the police storm into the building and hunt him down. He incapacitates some and even saves a cat, jumping out of the building (after throwing a police officer forcefully through a wall) and takes advantage of the chaos that occurs when the bat colony arrives to speed away on a police motorcycle and escape.
Batman's Biography:
•The Batman saga takes place in Gotham, a city overrun with crime and corruption. Its citizens live in perpetual fear, under the dark forces which terrorize and govern it. Striking back at those who bring this strife to the city is a mysterious vigilante, clothed with a cape and mask which evoke the semblance of a bat, and who operates in the darkness of the night. Secretly, the Batman is millionaire philanthropist Bruce Wayne, a young wealthy socialite who witnessed his parents' murder during their mugging at the age of 8. Batman utilizes his keen analytical detective mind; sophisticated technology and gadgetry; outstanding physical agility, power and stamina, to ensure that criminals never feel safe in Gotham. In the eyes of the public, the Batman is believed to be something more than human. An interminable black specter who personifies terror, unhindered by the limitations of common men, thus gaining him legendary status.

Batman R.I.P.:

At an unknown location, a group of international supervillains are gathered together under the behest of the Black Glove, led by Dr. Simon Hurt, the man responsible for the isolation chamber experiment that Batman underwent and the creation of the three replacement Batmen. They are planning a danse macabre for Batman and arrange for the sending of an invitation to the villainous Joker.
Back in Gotham City, Batman and his new girlfriend Jezebel Jet receive an invitation to attend a party being held by the Black Glove, of which the theme is that of a danse macabre. This causes Batman to react in fear, as he believes that Jezebel (who has recently learned that Batman is Bruce Wayne) could conceivably be targeted for death by the Black Glove. Elsewhere, Commissioner Gordon tries valiantly to convince a local newspaper into not running a story on a dossier that the publication has recently came into possession of. The dossier, allegedly compiled by a detective hired by the parents of Martha Wayne (Batman's mother), contains many shocking revelations: that Alfred Pennyworth (Batman's loyal butler/confidant) is Bruce Wayne's true biological father, that Thomas Wayne was a drunk who got his wife Martha addicted to heroin, as well as photographs of an orgy involving Thomas and Martha Wayne, Alfred, and the stars of a noir film "The Black Glove". The editor also tells Gordon even bigger revelations: that Thomas Wayne may still be alive and that the "murder" of his wife Martha was part of an elaborate scheme to kill his unfaithful wife and fake his own death.
The dossier itself conceivably is part of a larger game being played by the Black Glove and his League of Villains, of which Doctor Simon Hurt is leading in their campaign against Batman. Having drugged Batman with a slashing from a tainted blade, Hurt gives M'Sieur Le Bossu and his henchmen the gargoyles, the location of the Batcave. Batman has the Batcomputer analyze all known data he has on the Black Glove and Simon Hurt. The result Batman receives, just before he collapses due to the drug he was exposed to and a trigger phrase implanted by Doctor Hurt; Zur-En-Arrh. Upon returning, Alfred is attacked by Le Bossu and his minions .....
